The Boy Who Cried, “Ball Under the Couch”10
July 17, 2012 by CassieCravings
“Mama! Get ‘da ball. Right ‘dere!” His little finger pointed under the couch.
I crouched down on all fours and peered into the dark world that is under the couch.
“I don’t see a ball. I see a sippie cup, but no ball. Are you sure….Oomph!”
Eli pounced on my back.
He giggled, “You’s a horse, Mama! Giddiup!”
Well played, Son. Well played.
what a sneaky, sneaky little Eli move! haha
Lol! Wasn’t it! I was shocked and impressed. 🙂
Bahaha! That made me really laugh out loud! Good one, Eli!
How could I resist playing after such a sneak attack. Lol! We “horsied” all around the house. 🙂
Ha ha ha. Very typical of these darlings
Lol! He is such a character. I think he and Alice would have a ball together…or at least would be entertaining for all of us. 🙂
cheeky little fella! 😉
Haha! He certainly is 😉
I definitely needed this laugh. I wish I would’ve seen it the day you posted it! This is absolutely the best part of “terrible twos!” Despite the extra bravery when it comes to testing their limits, the out-smarting-mommy games are quite hillarious. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. 🙂
It is quite the fun adventure, isn’t it! Our boys certainly keep us on our toes!
Now that Ellie is sitting up, you’re going to have to use both feet to keep up with your precious little ones! :))
