“I wished you home.”

December 23, 2012 by CassieCravings

When I have been away from home, whether for a half hour or a full day, there is a curly headed toddler who runs to me and jumps in my arms. He squeezes me tight. He kisses both of my cheeks and whispers ever so intently, “I wished you home.”

OH this is just beautiful. How lucky are we to be loved by a child. love.

I made it my silly little goal to stop by to follow and say “hey” to every mom on the Bloggy Mom December link up. It’s a bit insane but I’m glad to have discovered many a sweet blog. We are such an amazing resource, we moms.

If you’d like we’re gathering for An Aloha Affair , a sweet sharing of joy and a meaningful sort of growing together. Come grow with us.

Happy New Year to You and Yours.

  2. Oh my word, utterly beautiful. I’m so glad you soak in this moment.
