A Prayer from Eli

A friend of Eli’s has a procedure this morning to remove his tonsils. I reminded Eli that this friend would not be at school today because he is going to the doctor. Here is Eli’s response:
“Oh, yes. He’s goin’ to ‘da doctors be’tause his thwroat sick. I’s needs to pwray for my fwriend.
Dears God,
I pwray for my fwriend when he goes to ‘da doctor. I pwray that he won’t be sad or cwry. And he won’t be hurt. I pwray he haves a happy face. Be’tause You are peace. I pwray he will walk and dance for ‘da whole day be’tause You makes him feel better.”
