“Which do you think will be your favorite change?”
“My baby. He’sth vewry impowrtant, you know. And it’sth a big job to be his bwrothewr.”
Yes, yes. I agree. Which do you think will be the hardest change?”
“I think my baby again. It will be hawrd when you take cawre of him, and you can’t take cawre of me. I will twry to be indepen’ent, but I might have jealousth in my heawrt sometimesth.”
“That is all very true. Remember this though: I will always take care of you. You are right that you’ll have to share my time more, but you will never have to share my love. I have enough love for you and enough love for you baby brother. I will always take care of you. That’s my job as a mama.”
“Even when I’m a gwrom up? Even when I’m twelve?”
“Yes, yes. Even then.”
