Tonight I tucked in my two year-old for the last time. In the next few hours, you will be three. I lingered as you fell asleep. I gave you an extra kiss and breathed a prayer of hope for your three year-old year. I inhaled the scent of your lavender shampoo and held your not-so-tiny toes in my hand.
We’re leaving a lot behind in your toddler years. There are a lot of memories and milestones met.
We have a lot to look forward to in your preschool years. Every day you are growing and learning.
My curly headed boy, it is an honor to be your mama. I love you tip of your nose to the end of your toes.

Oh my gosh! Your handsome Miles and my beautiful Alexandra have the same birthday!! She’s a big 1 year old now (sniffle), and my post today was done in the form of a letter to her sharing her birth story. I did my best to hold it together! 😉 Happy, happy birthday Miles.
